Fire destroys house in northwest neighbourhood

Firefighters were called to a house fire in the area of 138 Avenue and 120 Street just before 6 a.m. Monday.

Firefighters were called to a single-family home in northwest Edmonton early Monday morning.

The blaze in the area of 138 Avenue and 120 Street was reported shortly before 6 a.m.

Crews got it under control by 7:20 a.m.

An Edmonton Fire Rescue Services spokesperson could not say whether the house had been occupied, but confirmed there were no reported injuries.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
