A man was seriously injured after a stabbing in Fort McMurray on Friday morning. Emergency crews received a 911 call about the stabbing at 4:45 a.m. The 37-year-old man was found in a convenience store parking lot on Franklin Avenue with serious injuries before being taken to the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre. Officers used drones and police dogs to locate two suspects in nearby bushes. They were arrested without incident. A 34-year-old woman from Fort McMurray and a 35-year-old man from Grande Prairie are facing multiple charges, including aggravated assault. They remain in custody.
