Custom Oilers guitar sold in Ben Stelter Foundation fundraiser

A custom-made guitar signed by the Edmonton Oiler caption has sold for $7,800, with profits going to the Ben Stelter Foundation.

It was custom-built by Wayne Lestus, signed by Oilers star Connor McDavid and sold for $7,800.

Lestus used some unusual ingredients to construct the custom axe.

They include a couple of hockey sticks from Canadian Tire and pucks from the Rogers Place gift shop.

The $7,800 raised will go to the Ben Stelter Foundation, which will use it toward building a first-of-its-kind medical treatment facility in Edmonton.
