Body found after St. Albert house fire, police investigating

Mounties are investigating after a body was found in a St. Albert home after a fire.

Police are investigating after a body was found following a house fire in St. Albert on Thursday.

After the fire at the house on Keystone Crescent was out, firefighters found a body inside the house.

Mounties say the circumstances around the death are suspicious.

The victim has been taken to the officer of the chief medical examiner for an autopsy.

Police say it’s early in the incident, but the incident is believed to be targeted and there is no risk to the public.
