Think you may have come across a counterfeit hockey jersey? Here's how to identify a fake:

Logo: It should feel smooth and thin not bubbly.

Colour: Team colours may be slightly lighter or darker than an official jersey.

Inside Stitching: The front logo and back name should be sewn directly into the jersey.

Fight Strap: Fakes often have shorter and thinner straps that may not be centered.

NHL hologram: Official jerseys will have an NHL hang tag with a hologram or sticker that changes from English to French with a tilt.

Price: If the deal is too good, it is likely a fake
