The Calgary Wranglers rode some hot goaltending from Ivan Prosvetov to a 4-3 victory over the Bakersfield Condors Saturday at the Saddledome. Prosvetov stopped 35 of 38 shots the Condors fired at him, allowing the club to get the game to extra time. Sam Morton then scored his first career overtime goal to give the club the win. Martin Frk and Rory Kerins had first period markers to propel the club to a two-goal lead, before the Condors scored twice in the second to send the game to the third period tied 2-2. Carter King scored to give the Wranglers a one-goal lead but Bakersfield bounced back to tie it up before Morton fired his game-winner. It was Indigenous Celebration Day Saturday and the club wore specially-designed jerseys that are now being auctioned. The two clubs are back at it Sunday at the Saddledome, with puck drop scheduled for 1 p.m.
