An Altario, Alta., woman faces criminal charges in connection with suspicious financial transactions that took place at a local non-profit organization. Oyen RCMP said in a release that a lengthy investigation was launched May 29, resulting in charges against the former president of the Cactus Gym Club, 42-year-old Michelle Hutton. She was charged with fraud over $5,000 and theft over $5,000. Hutton is released and is scheduled to appear in court in Hanna on Sept. 23. Oyen is about 320 kilometres east of Calgary.
