Water pooling near Sarcee Trail and a traffic circle on Na'a Drive was the result of a natural spring nearby.

A Calgary area dealt with a water issue Thursday, but this time it wasn’t a water main break.

Water was pooling near Sarcee Trail and the traffic circle on Na’a Drive.

City water services confirmed that the flooding was the result of a natural spring nearby.

A city crew was on hand earlier Thursday to make sure the storm drains were free of ice so the groundwater could drain away.
