The cooldown starts Tuesday, but it’ll really hit Thursday and Friday

A change is coming. We'll start a cooldown Tuesday, and while Tuesday will still be fairly mild, by the end of the workweek, we're in for a dose of winter.

It will be extremely windy overnight and on Tuesday morning.

The winds will ease throughout the day.

The cooldown begins Tuesday, but it’ll be Thursday and Friday that you’ll really notice.

By then, daytime highs will be in the minus double digits.

We will recover to more normal temperatures by the weekend.
