Suspects sought after man attacked outside Calgary restaurant

Calgary police are looking for public help to identify a man and a woman they believe attacked and robbed a man outside a southwest eatery last year.

At about 11:20 a.m. on Oct. 3, 2025, a man in his 40s was found in medical distress in an alley behind the Palomino Smokehouse, located at 109 Seventh Ave. S.W.

The victim was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition but has since recovered.

Following an investigation, police say the victim was confronted by a man and a woman in the alley, assaulted and robbed of his personal belongings.

Police say the suspects fled eastbound on Seventh Avenue S.W. following the incident.

The male is described as between 30 and 40 years old with short, dark hair, a moustache and a large tattoo on the back of his left hand. He was wearing a grey zip-up hoodie, a dark green Reebok shirt, jeans and black-and-white sneakers at the time.

The woman is believed to be between 25 and 35 years old with long, brown hair and a slim build. She was wearing a black, puffy coat, black pants, a grey shirt and white shoes at the time.
