Screams of music fans echo throughout Chinook Centre during JUNO Fan Fare

Thousands of people flocked to Chinook Centre on Saturday to catch a glimpse of, or an autograph from, some of their favourite Canadian musicians.

JUNO Fan Fare allowed fans a chance to meet artists, including JUNO award nominees, from a range of genres. The Saturday afternoon lineup included:

Ria Mae, whose song ‘Clothes Off’ is nominated for single of the year, is enjoying her first encounter with the JUNO festivities.

“It’s my first JUNO weekend experience,” exclaimed Mae. “I’m just, I’m just excited!”

Mae was not alone in her enthusiasm for the event. Fans clamoured for an opportunity to take a photo of, or a selfie with, the stars and to take in the live performances.

Saturday’s event was part of JUNO Week 2016 leading up to the 2016 JUNO Awards Ceremony on Sunday afternoon.

The JUNOs, Canada’s Music Awards, will air on CTV beginning at 5:00 p.m. MST.
