Police investigate carjacking in northeast Calgary

Someone carjacked a 50-year-old on Wednesday afternoon in northeast Calgary, police say.

The incident happened around 4:18 p.m., in the 1400 block of 40 Avenue N.E.

According to police, the victim “sustained minor injuries” and received assessment from EMS at the scene.

Not far away from where the carjacking occurred, the vehicle was found, but the suspect remains at large.

Investigation is ongoing.
