Calgary police closed a section of Nose Creek Park on Sunday after someone discovered a suspicious object near a pathway. They received a call around 2:30 p.m. from someone who was walking their dog in the area. Police closed the intersection of Beddington Trail N.E. and Harvest Hills Boulevard N.E. - very near the dog park parking lot - for the investigation. By 8 p.m., police determined the object “was secured and found not to be suspicious. The scene was later cleared.
