Showers persist in London forecast, sunny weekend ahead

Environment Canada says London, Ont., residents can expect a transition from wet weather to clear skies this week.

Showers are likely to continue through Friday before giving way to a pleasant, sunny weekend.

Here’s the extended forecast:

• Wednesday: Increasing clouds and a high of 22C, followed by a cloudy night with showers and a low of 15C.
• Thursday: Showers ending to cloudy skies with a high of 23C, with a cloudy night and a 60% chance of showers and a low of 13C.
• Friday: Cloudy with a 40% chance of showers and a high of 19C, clearing to a low of 7C overnight.
• Saturday: Sunny with a high of 18C, followed by clear skies and a low of 6C overnight.
• Sunday: Sunny with a high of 21C, transitioning to cloudy periods overnight with a low of 8C.
• Monday: A mix of sun and cloud with a high of 13C, followed by cloudy periods and a low of plus 2C overnight.
• Tuesday: A mix of sun and cloud with a high of 15C.
