More snowfall coming to Calgary

There's more snow in the forecast for Calgary this week before the weather warms up for Easter weekend.

Calgary saw between six and 10 centimetres of snow between Sunday and Monday. The next batch of snow is expected to come down on Thursday, but it should be quiet until then.

There will be a cold start to Tuesday, with the wind chill making it feel like -15 at around 8 a.m. The clouds will increase in the afternoon, but the temperature will climb above the freezing mark.

Wednesday will be a little windy ahead of the next system approaching, but much of the day should be nice.

Another round of snow is expected Wednesday night into Thursday. By Friday, a seven-day warming trend begins, with temperatures in the double digits expected on Saturday.

Here’s a photo from Wendy Decoux, taken in Crowsnest Pass, on Monday that shows off the recent snowfall. That area saw eight to 13 centimetres in the last 24 hours.
