Minding your manners while riding the rails

Calgary Transit rolled out an etiquette campaign for Trains and buses.

Calgary Transit has launched an etiquette campaign to teach riders to treat others with courtesy and respect while sharing space on the city’s buses and CTrains.

The initiative is in partnership with Vancouver’s transit system, TransLink, and will tackle a new passenger habit that impacts others every two months by placing ads in transit vehicles.

“Most of our customers are pretty good at making sure there’s room for the seniors and they conduct themselves appropriately but it’s always good to have a reminder out there and make sure people know what’s acceptable on the train and that it is a team sport after all and we like everybody to work together,” said Doug Morgan, Director of Calgary Transit.
