Lethbridge police search for hit-and-run suspect

The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is investigating a hit-and-run collision, which caused about $12,000 in damage.

Investigators say on Dec. 4 at around 10:30 a.m., a white Honda Odyssey was making a left turn on a green light from 10 Avenue South to Scenic Drive South.

At the same time, an older model, red Dodge Caravan proceeded through the red and struck the Odyssey.

LPS says the driver of the Dodge Caravan made no attempt to stop and left the scene.

EMS assessed the driver of the Odyssey on scene and says they didn’t need further medical attention.

The offending vehicle may have had a B.C. licence plate.
