Last call for Taber votes in Kraft Hockeyville

On Dec. 17, an explosion occurred in one of the Taber Ice Arena’s Zamboni rooms, causing major damage and forcing the town to close the rink.

It’s the last call to vote for Kraft Hockeyville.

Voting started Friday and ends Saturday at 3 p.m.

The winner will be announced shortly after the polls close.

The Town of Taber is going against Tumbler Ridge B.C. in this year’s competition.

The winning town receives $250,000 to improve their hockey arena.

Taber entered the competition after its community centre and arena was damaged by an explosion in December.

To celebrate the reveal, Taber is hosting a watch party Saturday at the auditorium, starting at 3 p.m.
