Human remains identified as 20-year-old Brooks woman missing since Aug. 15

Human remains discovered in Brooks Thursday were identified as local resident Fatima Ahmed, who was last seen Aug. 15, 2025.

Brooks RCMP have identified human remains discovered Thursday as a missing Brooks resident.

Fatima Ahmed was last seen on Aug. 15.

RCMP offered condolences to Fatima’s family and friends on Friday.

An autopsy was completed earlier in the day. The cause of the death is pending.
