Dawgs hitting spree continues in 10-1 win over Brooks Bombers

The Okotoks Dawgs defeated the Brooks Bombers 10-1

The weather isn’t heating up much but the Okotoks Dawgs’ bats are.

The Dawgs defeated the Brooks Bombers 10-1 Friday night in front of more than 5,000 at Seaman Stadium.

The win came a night after the Dawgs beat Brooks 17-2.

Cal Gates went 3 for 3 with a walk, a stolen base and two runs for the Dawgs. Connor Crowson went 1 for 2 with a walk and 4 RBIs. Hank Griffin went 2 for 5 and drove in two runs.

Overall, the Dawgs scored 10 runs on 11 hits.

Tyson Willis allowed one run over five innings, striking out seven to pick up the win.

Wyatt Sadleir picked up three strikeouts in relief to get the save.

Next up for the 5-1 Dawgs is a Saturday night matchup against the Fort McMurray Giants. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
