‘Dangerous and aggressive’ bulls captured after escape in southern Alberta town

Alberta RCMP are shouting hearty yahoos in Coaldale after a pair of ‘dangerous and aggressive’ bulls were safely corralled Friday morning.

Coaldale RCMP say the two animal escaped while being transported near Highway 3 and 18 Avenue.

At 8:10 a.m. Mounties issued a public warning about the animals, which could have been a threat to students walking to school.

A short time later, officials say the animals were recaptured.

“Thanks to the grit and rugged skills of the cowboys (and the dog), the bulls were contained and loaded into a trailer without further incident around 8:30 a.m.,” RCMP said in a news release.

There were no reports of injuries.
