It will be another hot one in Calgary on Wednesday. The city is expecting some humidity, making the high of 26 C feel more like 28. The skies should be bright and stable. Thursday looks to be a different story, with chances of severe thunderstorms across southern Alberta. The storms are expected to start to fire up along the mountains around 2 p.m., then track towards the Queen Elizabeth II and Highway 2 by about 3:30 p.m. This will be wave number one, with a couple more waves of storms possible until midnight. Things should stabilize again for Friday and Saturday. Peggy Street shares a cool pic taken on Saturday night in Calgary as the storms started to roll in.
