A motorcyclist remains in critical condition in hospital after colliding with a vehicle in the South Keys area. Ottawa paramedics say first responders were called to Hunt Club Road and Bank Street at 12:10 p.m. Wednesday. The motorcyclist is a man in his early 20s, paramedics say. The two occupants of the vehicle were not hurt. On Thursday, the Ottawa Police Service appealed for any witnesses to the crash to come forward to speak with investigators. Anyone who witnessed the crash or may have dashcam footage that captured the incident is asked to contact the Fatal Collision Investigation Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 2345. It’s the second serious collision involving a motorcycle on Hunt Club Road in just over a week. A motorcyclist was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle at the Cahill Drive intersection on Sept. 21. A pedestrian was also seriously injured after being struck by a grey hatchback at a nearby intersection last weekend.
