A Day Out With Thomas postponed until June: Heritage Park

If you have tickets to see Thomas the Tank Engine this weekend at Heritage Park, pump your brakes.

The popular park announced Friday evening that all Day Out With Thomas events that were originally planned for May 3 and May 4 have been rescheduled for June 7 and 8.

They said the decision follows an “unforseen mechanical issue” that affects the train’s availability.

Since the train is unavailable, the park said it’s unable to “safely deliver the full experience our guests expect and deserve.”

“As anyone who loves trains knows, even the most charming engines occasionally need a little extra time in the workshop.

“Heritage Park’s dedication to using historically accurate, steam-era locomotives makes the Day Out With Thomas experience truly one-of-a-kind,” it said, “but it also means these engines sometimes need more care than their modern counterparts.

All ticketholders will be contacted by Ticketweb at the email provided on their original order and automatically rescheduled for the same day and time as originally booked.

It’s also possible to transfer your tickets for this weekend to available time slots that remain for next weekend.
