Coaldale RCMP say three people from Taber are facing charges after they were found to be in possession of a significant quantity of drugs during a traffic stop this month.

On April 1, police found $12,000 worth of methamphetamine inside a vehicle after the driver initially failed to stop for the officer.

Two men and a woman were all charged with trafficking in a controlled substance. The driver of the vehicle, one of the males, was charged with flight from police while the other man was charged with two counts of failing to comply with a release order.

All three individuals have court dates set for later this month.
