Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival

• What: Sip on wines, beers and spirits – and nibble on tasty treats – at the 2025 Rocky Mountain Wine and Food Festival.
• When: Friday, Oct. 17 and Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025.

Calgary Tattoo and Arts Festival

• What: Billed as the largest show of its kind in Canada, the 2025 Calgary Tattoo and Arts Festival takes over the BMO Centre this weekend.
• When: Friday, Oct. 17 to Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025.

Beetlejuice at The Grand

• What: The Grand theatre will screen the 1988 classic Beetlejuice as part of its Halloween Movie Night series.
• When: Friday, October 17 at 7 p.m.

Hitmen vs. Chiefs

• What: The Calgary Hitmen take on the Spokane Chiefs in WHL action.
• When: Sunday, Oct. 19 at 2 p.m.

Screamfest

• What: Screamfest has seven different haunted houses for attendees to check out – including Zombie Outbreak, the most extreme on the list. Aside from the haunted houses, there are also rides, monster trucks and a midway of mayhem.
• When: 7 p.m. to midnight on Friday, Oct. 17 and Saturday, Oct. 18.

Harvest Pumpkin Fest at Butterfield Acres

• What: Butterfield Acres hosts Harvest Pumpkin Fest, a chance to find the perfect pumpkin, take a pony ride or a ride through Scarecrow Alley.
• When: Saturday, Oct. 18 and Sunday, Oct. 19, 20215.

Pumpkins After Dark

• What: Pumpkins After Dark lets visitors walk along a pathway of lit pumpkin sculptures and displays featuring more than 10,000 hand-carved jack-o-lanterns.

Haunted Mini-Golf

• What: Calgarians are encouraged to dress up in a Halloween costume when taking a swing at WinSport’s Spooktacular Haunted Mini-Golf.

Dial M for Murder

• What: Theatre Calgary presents Dial M for Murder, directed by Jillian Keiley. The play is an adaptation of the classic Alfred Hitchcock thriller.

Echo by Cirque du Soleil

• What: Watch Cirque du Soleil perform Echo, a family friendly show that melds poetry, stagecraft, technology and acrobatics.
