Wallet returned: cash missing

OPP have an ongoing investigation into theft of cash from a wallet returned to a bank.

Police are looking for a man who found a wallet at a convenience store on Bayfield Road North in Springwater on May 29.

The next day, the owner of the wallet was contacted by their bank advising them that it had been returned to a branch located on Bayfield Street in Barrie.

However, a large sum of cash was missing from the wallet.

The man who returned the wallet is described as:

• A Caucasian male with an olive complexion, thin build, approximately 40 to 50-years-old, about five feet ten inches, with tattoos on his arm.
