Tractor-trailer fire partially shuts down Hwy. 11 in Gravenhurst

Highway 11 northbound at Doe Lake Road is partially closed in Gravenhurst following an early morning tractor-trailer fire.

Emergency crews were called to the scene shortly after 3 a.m. on Monday for reports of a tractor-trailer engulfed in flames north of Doe Lake Road.

As of the latest update, one lane has reopened, but Highway 11 northbound remains partially closed while clean up efforts get underway.

Police say the investigation is ongoing at this time. No injuries have been reported.

Further information about the cause of the fire has not yet been released.
