Tay Township says it’s hoping to see healthcare in northern Simcoe become stronger with the help of a $37,500 investment. The money comes to Georgian Bay General Hospital as part of the hospital foundation’s We See You: Inside and Out campaign with an initial donation valued at $25,000. Tay Township also then invested an additional $12,500 toward physical recruitment efforts. “This donation reflects our commitment to ensuring our residents have access to high-quality care and to supporting physician recruitment that will serve our community for years to come,” said Mayor Ted Walker, Tay Township. According to the hospital foundation, contributions like the $25,000 for the campaign enable the hospital to invest in new equipment and modern technology.
