A frigid, windy and icy day has forced the cancellation of buses in Simcoe County. Environment Canada is called for freezing drizzle of two to four centimetres and icy roads across central Ontario. Winter winds will gust up to 50 km/h this afternoon and while the high for the day is zero, the wind chill will feel like -17C. Simcoe County Transportation Consortium has cancelled all buses and vans in Simcoe County, however the schools remain open for learning.
