Retiree and grandfather wins $100,000 in newest OLG Watch ‘N Win game

OLG’s newest Watch ‘N Win game, Powerbucks Wheel of Fortune Ruby Riches has made a winner out of Patrizio Corsetti from East Gwillimbury, who’s been playing the lottery for 30 years.

It was at Corsetti’s regular visit to his favourite convenient store, Esso/On the Run on Yonge Street in Newmarket, where he purchased the lucky ticket.

The retiree said his wife, who was the inspiration behind him starting to play Powerbucks, was “in shock and so excited” when Corsetti asked her to scan his ticket on the OLG app.

Corsetti says a portion of his winnings of $100,000 will go into investments while the rest will go towards his granddaughter’s future education.

“Winning big is a very good feeling,” Corsetti said.

There are two ways to win in the Wheel of Fortune lotto game: in-store and in a nightly draw.
