Country mainstays Rascal Flatts will close out Boots and Hearts Festival 2026 Sunday night. The guys who make up the band, Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney, have been making music together since 1999. With 11 studio albums and 17 headlining tours to their name, the group has plenty of music and experience to draw from. Festival goers can expect a clear, dry and warm conditions for the third and final day of Boots and Hearts, the country music festival that’s taken over Simcoe County this weekend. After a rocky day two with dark skies, rain and thunder, causing a temporary pause on festival operations, most acts were able to perform as scheduled. Here’s what’s happening on day 3 On the Front Porch stage, Savannah Jade will kick off the lineup at 3:15 p.m. Then opener for September’s Troubadour Summer Concert Series Mitch Zorn will perform at 4:40 p.m. Kaitlin Butts is on at 6:30 p.m. and Max McNown at 8:25 p.m. The Emerging Artist Showcase Finals kicks off at 4:45 p.m. on the main stage. The band who won that very showcase in 2015 will be performing their own set at 5:25 p.m. on the main stage. Taylor Abram, one of the band members, is from Barrie. At 6:35 p.m., the Emerging Artist Showcase Winner Announcement will take place followed by Tucker Wetmore at 7:20 p.m., who will make way for Sunday’s headliners Rascal Flatts at 9:30 p.m.
