South Simcoe Police are appealing to the public as they investigate a fail-to-remain crash early Sunday morning in Bradford. It happened at around 7:30 a.m. near Holland Street West and Summerlyn Trail. “A black 2021 or 2022 Ram 1500 left the roadway, travelled across the sidewalk and struck the McDonald’s restaurant. The driver then fled the scene,” said South Simcoe Police in a social media post. “The vehicle will have significant front driver’s side damage and likely some minor damage to the passenger side mid level.” Police say they believe the driver fled via Langford Boulevard. The service reports that the front driver’s side fender, a headlight assembly, part of a bumper cover and other vehicle components were left behind on scene. Pictures of the suspect vehicle’s parts were uploaded by South Simcoe Police in the social media post, indicating they could have unique manufacturing data that will help investigators.
