Provincial police are investigating a fatal crash in New Tecumseth. On Sunday, around 1:30 a.m., officers responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on 13th Line near Adjala Tecumseth Townline. When officers arrived on scene, they found a 23-year-old man dead. According to investigators, the vehicle involved is believed to have fled the scene following the crash. The road was closed for several hours while investigators and reconstructionists assisted with the investigation. Police are asking the driver involved to come forward, as they may not have realized a person was on the roadway.
