A Caribbean music and culture festival has made its way up Highway 11. Oasis returns with a celebration of reggae, dancehall, food, culture, and community. Spokesperson for Oasis Louise Jackson said the festival is a first of its kind in the region. “This is history, this my backyard and we have never, ever, ever had this kind of festival,” said Jackson. “We have international talent.’ The 2026 line up includes Masicka, Sizzla, Wayne Wonder, Gentlemen, Jahshii, Mr. Killa-Soca Grenada and more. “The next time you’re going to see Masicka is probably going to be in an arena,” said Jackson. “It’s a big deal”
