Missing stop sign causes crash in Adjala-Tosorontio

OPP say street signs that were removed overnight caused a crash in Adjala-Tosorontio on Saturday morning.

Officers responded to a collision at the intersection of 17th Sideroad and 4th Concession, around 8:30 a.m. No injuries are reported, but police say the crash was caused by a missing stop sign.

According to OPP, several other street signs were pulled out of the ground throughout the township by an unknown number of suspects.

Police say a further investigation revealed that two youths were seen near Cindy Lane, around 4 a.m. removing street signs. However, no description of the youths was provided to officers.
