Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man and car involved in a robbery. On Wednesday at around 3 p.m., Huntsville OPP responded to a report of a robbery that had just occurred on Deerhurst Summit Drive in Huntsville involving a delivery driver. Police heard that a man walked into a condominium building, assaulted the delivery driver, stole a package valued at approximately $5,000, and fled in a small teal or blue-grey sedan. The suspect is described as: Male, Black, 35-to-45 years of age, five foot ten to six feet tall, weighed about 150-to-180 pounds, his hair was held back by a head covering or garment Police say there were no injuries reported as a result of the incident. However, police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, observed a car matching the description in the area, or has dash camera, doorbell camera, or surveillance footage from the time of the occurrence, to contact the OPP.
