Blue Mountain Resort officially wraps up ski and snowboard season

After 122 days on the slopes the resort is now transitioning into spring operations.

After a warm and wet week, Blue Mountain Resort has officially pulled the plug on its ski and snowboard season.

The popular Ontario destination announced Wednesday that after 122 days on the slopes, the team is now transitioning into spring operations.

“We said we would ski until we couldn’t, and that is exactly what we did,” said Dan Skelton, president and COO of Blue Mountain Resort. “This season reflects the commitment of our teams to deliver great conditions and memorable experiences every day, from early-season preparation through to our final runs.”

Nestled along the shores of Southern Georgian Bay, resort staff recorded more than 850 hours of snowmaking this season and opened two days ahead of schedule on Dec. 9, 2025.

“The season was defined by consistent conditions and strong terrain availability, including having end-to-end terrain open for skiers and riders during the holidays, Family Day and March Break,” the team said in a media release.

The wacky winter blast even delivered 297 centimetres of natural snow this year.
