A battery charger in an attached garage appears to have caused a fire at a Collingwood home Tuesday morning, according to an official. Fire crews responded to reports of the blaze on Dey Drive with five units. Deputy Fire Chief Stephen Emo said the fire is under control and appeared to be contained to the attached garage, which sustained significant damage. The fire caused roughly $400,000 damage and displaced four residents. No injuries were reported.
