Police have laid attempted murder charges against a Barrie woman following an incident that police say involved a knife. According to Barrie Police, officers arrived at a downtown Barrie complex following reports of a stabbing on Thursday evening. Police say they found the victim suffering from serious injuries in the complex on North Street shortly after 5 p.m. A 41-year-old woman was rushed to a local hospital before being airlifted to Toronto. After speaking with several people in the area, police say they located the suspect inside a unit. She was arrested without incident.
