Barrie Police say 28-year-old Daniel Tallim of Barrie has been charged in connection with a sexual assault case involving a child and there may be more victims. Police say Tallim was arrested and charged on May 6. He is identified by Barrie Police as the sole proprietor of Alpha Martial Arts on Little Avenue in Barrie and has been involved with the martial arts community in Barrie for years. Investigators believe there may be more victims out there and are reminding residents that there is no statute of limitations for sexual offences, meaning offenders can be prosecuted long after the date of the offence. Anyone with information is asked to contact Barrie police or Crime Stoppers.
