Barrie Police are seeking video of east-end Barrie, particularly in the Dunsmore Lane and Quinlan Road area. On Thursday, two suspects were captured on home video checking door handles of vehicles in the area between 1:40 a.m. and 5 a.m. At one point, they smashed a car window, taking several items from inside the vehicle. At around 4:25 a.m., a white 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander was stolen from a driveway on Quinlan Road. It was last seen heading north. The first suspect was wearing a navy-blue sweater, blue hat, black shorts, white shoes with black laces and tongues, and carrying a black backpack. The second suspect was wearing a white sweater/jacket, beige/brown pants, a hat, and white Nike shoes. He has long blonde/light brown hair tied in a ponytail and carried a backpack with a patterned side bag. Police ask anyone living in the area with video surveillance cameras, or who saw anything suspicious, to please reach out to Barrie Police Service.
