Police on Prince Edward Island arrested four people – including three that were under the legal drinking age – for impaired driving over the weekend. Erratic driving The first incident happened in Stratford around 11:30 p.m. Friday, when the RCMP received a complaint about a vehicle driving erratically. Police found the vehicle and arrested the 18-year-old driver for impaired operation by alcohol. Youth injured in crash Queens District RCMP responded to a single-vehicle crash on Union Road around 3:20 a.m. Saturday. Police say a male youth sustained minor injuries and was arrested at the scene for impaired operation by alcohol. “The driver provided breath samples that were more than two-and-a-half times the legal limit,” said police on Monday. Albion crash Kings District RCMP responded to a single-vehicle rollover collision in Albion shortly after 7 p.m. Saturday. The 46-year-old driver sustained minor injuries and was arrested for impaired driving by alcohol. Teen injured in crash Queens District RCMP responded to a single-vehicle collision in Bonshaw around 1:10 a.m. Sunday. An 18-year-old sustained minor injuries and was arrested for impaired operation by alcohol. “He provided breath samples that were twice the legal limit,” said police.
