P.E.I. gas prices up nearly three cents

The price of gas increased overnight on Prince Edward Island while the price of diesel did not change.

Regular self-serve gasoline increased by 2.9 cents. Islanders are paying a new minimum price of 189.1 cents per litre.

The price of diesel remains at a minimum price of 221.8 cents per litre.

Prices at the pumps did not change in Nova Scotia or New Brunswick overnight.

The next scheduled adjustment for all three Maritime provinces is Friday.
