Charlottetown police seek suspects after $9,300 in purchases made with stolen credit card

A man suspected of using a stolen credit card to make purchases in Charlottetown is pictured.

Charlottetown Police Services are asking the public for assistance identifying three persons believed to be responsible for a stolen wallet and credit card fraud.

Police received a report the wallet was stolen and the credit card was used to make purchases on Aug. 30. Their investigation confirmed one man and two women made more than $9,300 in fraudulent purchases at four Charlottetown businesses, said a news release.

Police are asking the public for assistance in identifying the suspects as part of their ongoing investigation.
