81-year-old P.E.I. man dies after vehicle crash near Christopher Cross

An 81-year-old man has died following a single-vehicle crash on Route 14 in Prince Edward Island on Wednesday.

P.E.I. RCMP says they responded to a 911 call in the Christopher Cross area around 4:20 p.m.

“It appears the vehicle left the road and struck a concrete culvert however the investigation is ongoing, and cause of death has not been determined at this time,” an RCMP news release reads. “It does not appear that alcohol or impairment by drugs is a factor at this time as well.”

The Prince County man was the only person in the vehicle. He went to Prince County Hospital and was later pronounced dead.
