Rain and snow on the way for parts of southern Sask. this weekend

Following a windstorm this week, rain and some snow is now on the way for parts of southern Saskatchewan this weekend.

According to a special weather statement on Saturday, Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) said a low pressure system will cause an area of rain to move into the province on Saturday.

By Monday morning, total amounts of rain will range from 25 mm to 50 mm, the weather agency said.

On Sunday afternoon, the rain may change to snow in some areas.
