Pubnico man dies following single-vehicle crash in Southville: N.S. RCMP

A 31-year-old man from Pubnico, N.S., has died following a crash in Southville, N.S.

Digby RCMP Detachment responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Langford Road around 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

“Upon arrival, RCMP officers learned that a Mazda 3 had been travelling southbound when it left the road and hit a power pole,” reads a news release from the Nova Scotia RCMP.

Police say the driver, who was the only person in the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.

An RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the location of the crash and police say the investigation is ongoing.
