N.S. RCMP searching for man wanted on provincewide warrant

The Shelburne RCMP Detachment is searching for a 29-year-old man who is wanted on a provincewide arrest warrant.

Liam Colin Cockerill, who police say also goes by the name Lucky, is facing charges of resisting a peace officer and five counts of breach of probation. Police believe he is in the Shelburne County area.

Police describe Cockerill as five-foot-nine, 137 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

“Police have made several attempts to locate Cockerill and are requesting assistance from the public,” reads a news release from the Nova Scotia RCMP.

Police ask anyone with information on Cockerill’s whereabouts to call Shelburne RCMP detachment at 902-875-2490 or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
