A man has been arrested for impaired driving after a golf cart rollover in Timberlea, N.S., according to police. Police say they responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash at a golf course on Brunello Boulevard around 1:30 p.m. Saturday where a golf cart carrying two people had rolled over. In a news release Wednesday, police say the passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries and received first-aid at the scene. Officers spoke with the driver, who they believed showed signs of impairment, and a roadside breath sample resulted in a “fail.” The driver, a 33-year-old man from Halifax, was arrested for impaired driving and was taken to the Tantallon RCMP detachment where he allegedly gave breath samples registering at 130 mg% each. The man was released and is set to appear in court at a later date. For more Nova Scotia news, visit our dedicated provincial page
